At last, patients with all types of pacemakers, defibrillators and CRT systems can be examined by MRI (magnetic resonance imaging). Whether you have an MRI-compatible or a conventional pacemaker, defibrillator or CRT system is no longer important, as we can now examine people with all devices with an MRI scan. This innovation closes a diagnostic gap. The latest scientific recommendations from the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) have enabled us to carry out these examinations safely and without risk.
Before, during and after an MRI examination, you, as a patient, are continuously cared for and monitored in terms of cardiology and radiology. We have specialised in this new process and are delighted to offer it to you. The costs are covered both by private health insurers and, upon request, by statutory health insurers.
Knowledge helps and technology makes it possible: even with a pacemaker, CRT or defibrillator, you do not have to do without a potentially informative magnetic resonance tomography (MRI) scan. I’d be happy to explain it to you.
